Director of Nutrition Research

Description
Manage the current research platform including management of existing projects, soliciting and evaluating new research proposals, and designing research experiments. Deliver scientific presentations to key industry partners and actively participate in scientific and industry meetings/conferences including chairing scientific sessions. Serve as media contact as appropriate. Support the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy’s dairy protein initiatives through serving on advisory panels.  

Skills
Required: PhD in human nutrition or related field, solid understanding of basic science and clinical (applied) research process, strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated presentation and publication record.

Notes
Preferred: Understanding of human protein metabolism and protein nutrition, basic understanding of exercise physiology, particularly as it relates to protein metabolism, and training/experience in epidemiology research, post-doctoral training and or industry experience.

Will be able to offer relocation to the right candidate
