Tessellate - QRS


This position will support the Tessellate Quality Programs team in order to enhance and build the Star initiative portfolio. This includes researching new solutions, monitoring industry trends, establishing relationships with vendors and vetting and prioritizing new solutions based on client needs. The position will require significant creativity, organization, motivation and attention to detail as building the initiative portfolio is critical to success of the quality product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Research potential initiatives that will drive Star performance across clients
  • Monitor the industry for potential improvement initiatives
  • Interface and establish relationships with vendors and potential partners
  • Develop position papers for potential vendors and solutions
  • Prioritize development of new initiatives based on client needs
  • Vetting and supporting development of new programs including the design, process and timelines
  • Facilitate discussions and coordination of solutions across Quality Programs and the broader Tessellate team
  • Coordinate with the client teams, specifically BCBSM, on development of new solutions
  • Lead business aspects of project management to ensure accuracy, consistency, efficiencies and timelines
  • Create executive level summaries and status materials and have ability to present to leadership and department on all aspects
  • Escalate issues/risk/action items as needed. Coordinate business decisions across stakeholders
  • Support internal transparency and client expectations through clear strategy updates and implementation status
  • Research, exploration and implementation of process improvements

Job Requirements


  1. Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in related field considered a plus.
  2. Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in related field including experience in a leadership role.

  2. Valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.
